  • Using .WAV files as ringing tones

The 9210 has the ability to use WAVE files as ringing tones. Connect your 9210 to a PC using the data cable and copy the desired .wav files from the PC to any directory on the 9210, it might be a good idea to create a directory specifically for ring tones. Once the file has been copied to the 9210 press Tel, then Menu, select settings, then select profiles. Choose which profile you want to assign the .wav file to from the list and press enter. A Profiles settings dialogue box will appear, under the general tab select the Ringing tone option and press enter. A list of built in tones will apear, from the side menu select Browse. Find the folder where the .wav files are kept and press enter. The .wav files which you have copied to the 9210 will be displayed. Highlight the one you wish to use and press enter. Finally, select Done from the side menu.

    Note
WAVE files are very big and long sounds will use a large proportion of the 9210's memory. Also WAVE files can also sound quite quiet so it might be a good idea to set the volume to maxium. This can be done by selecting volume from the side menu when in profile settings.
